Every year Newcastle Variety Bash goes rampaging around the country in the name of disadvantaged but beautiful kids. And every year we raise as a group a huge amount of money. In 2005, 42 cars raised $290,000 and in 2006 it was 48 cars and $352,000. 2007 was another record and now we are looking to 2008.

We are here to say please consider sponsoring the 'blucru' team and help us contribute to this fantastic cause.

We drive the car year round and are seen all over Newcastle and the Hunter, your brand is always represented on the car during the busiest times of the day and is available for advertising use for the major sponsors. We are interested in any marketing ideas you may have and really want the sponsors to enjoy the Bash as much as we do and get true recognition, exposure and value from the sponsorship.

The teams have major local publicity on Newcastle radio and TV as well as local coverage in all the towns and schools we visit. Many prominent Newcastle businesses and celebrities are involved and many have their own entries.

Our car is also professionally designed by graphic designers ‘Brandzoo’, illustrated by great cartoonists and printed by ‘Display Power’ vehicle and display graphics, so your artwork always looks perfect.

We’ll also send you Sponsorship plaques and a 'blucru' bottle of wine or two. There’s nothing we like more than to visit our sponsors and seeing plaques and T-shirts up on the walls in their businesses.

We want exposure and exposure breeds’ exposure, the more people that see you and us; the more successful we’ll be as a team.

We’ll take any donations and we’ll get your name on the car for as little as $500 (minor sponsors) or you can be a major player for $1 - $3000 (2-3 only). Of course we are also (very) open to bigger sums.
